A settlement was reached on 4 Feb whereby AOL will allow Cyber Promotions to send to their customers only via 5 designated domains, but they will block mail from AOL customers not specifically toggling an 'I want junk email' selection on one of their pages. Having aol was never a problem when Telnet was working!! I hate Imap, As explained in the email, you can "usually" send email with an IMAP client such as Netscape Messenger with AOL as long as you check mail before sending mail. You can "prime the pump" by signing on to IMP and waiting 30 seconds.
